Last night I had the opportunity to go to a Ball. Well sorta...
Right before school had ended, I was at a yearbook signing party with some of my friends. While I was there my friend Sarah showed me a silver high-healed shoe that she had of another one of my friends, Aubrey. Sarah had this one shoe because Aubrey had left it at her house. i suddenly got the brilliant idea to take it around the room and try it on all the girls to see if it fit, leaving Aubrey to be the last girl in the room to try it on. Of course it was "a perfect fit." So I told Aubrey that since I, the Prince, had found her, the Princess, I would soon take her on a date.
Well a week ago i went to Aubrey and asked her which Princess she like more, Cinderella, Bell or Snow White. Each Princess had a different activity that we would do. She chose Bell and that activity was to have a Ball.
She didn't know right away what her choice meant but later that week i had a friend go over to her house all dressed up and give her an invitation to the Ball. It was perfect! Everything went like it was a movie! I picked her up and gave her a single rose (because the rose in Beauty and the Beast). We went out to eat at Panda Express all dressed up and recieved many wierd glances from other people.
After dinner Everyone started heading over to my friends house who was hosting the occation while me and my date took a detour. We arrived about 10 minutes later than everyone else and we walked down the stairs and everyone was dancing to a slow song. I had instructed everyone to split a path and to make a circle so me and her could dance in the center while everyone watch the "Prince" and "Princess" dance.
It was absolutely amazing. Perfect, some might say!
